A friend of mine who I ran into at E3 told me that Autodesk was allowing their 3D programs to be used for FREE when you join the Education Community. Apparently, this is in thanks to our old college administrator-turned-Autodesk-Dev-manager who saw that students after college simply can’t afford all the programs needed to keep up with their work.

I haven’t tidied away my recent drawing files.. normally they wouldn’t be there. I have as few icons as I can possibly get away with 8D Hot Fuzz is my <3
I try to keep it as neat as possible.
And notes to keep me on track for upcoming deadlines and the such.
*Le sigh* Clearing out the manga collection royally sucks...
….but I’ve got an INSANE amount that’s taking up too much space now to share with my reading novels. Now it’s time for me to clear out the titles I no longer read and sell them off TT_TT

That moment where the power goes out while you're working on an illustration in photoshop...and you can't remember when you last saved...
Ho…my effing gawd.
I just STARED at the screen in disbelief, and I swore repeatedly as I tried to remember if I hit the SAVE command before it blew. But the SAVE command shortcut is nearly identical to the UNDO, DESELECT, and LAYER MERGE commands since they surround the letter “S” on the keyboard….so I couldn’t say for certain if 2 hours worth of work just went down the drain.
THANK THE PHOTOSHOP AND iMAC GODS that my computer opens up all the programs that were still running when it shut down…and ‘lo and BEHOLD the illustration is STILL THERE in all its shitty glory!

I didn’t even MEAN for it to happen. It just worked out that all the stuff I need to do happens to be due/needed the same week!
- 2 colored fanarts (one headshot, one bust)
- AC Big Bang entry (full color illustration)
- 3 OC commissions for web author’s site
- Disney chibis for coworker
- …number of other requests that don’t have a date, but should be done ASAP
Oh my gawd I’m gonna be busy~!! (This is a good thing, I promise. I just haven’t had this much workload in awhile and it just blindsided me a little). I need to stop being LAZY!
